Oh the joy of cars. Not the movie. If only. A few months ago we had to do some major work on one of our cars. Since we will be selling it in June we figured it would be worth it. Well that was probably a mistake as we probably won't be able to sell the car for close to what it cost to fix it. But I guess at least we have the second car. Well a couple of weeks ago we found our family car was also having trouble. So the big debate. Do we run it into the ground or try to save it until June? As we thought about what to do we realized it would have to be inspected in May. The problems we are having are with the cooling system which isn't really a problem right now, but come April it is going to be very hot around here and it would never pass. Well we decided to try to pass inspection now and then run it until it dies. I was completely shocked to discover it passed! The thought of trying to get the kids to school and church for 6 weeks by bus or taxi had me depressed for days. Actually taking taxis would probably cost less than fixing, inspecting and registering the car, but only 5 people fit into a taxi so I would have to leave someone behind. Hum... maybe that would have been a good idea.

I would ignore that first post, weird.. Anyway, that doesn't sound like fun with your car! And leaving someone home is probably not a good option, lol. I hope that you can get your cars figured out, so that you have one good one at least!
